Desde el deceso de Carlos Saúl Menem en febrero de 2021, los descendientes del ex Presidente de Argentina han estado enfrascados en continuas disputas, muchas de ellas gatilladas por los bienes que dejó el también alguna vez marido de Cecilia Bolocco.
Un tema que resurgió al trascender, desde el otro lado de los Andes, el detalle de la herencia que está en juego.
Tras un catastro del patrimonio y una declaración jurada que dejó el desaparecido primer mandatario trasandino, se determinó que tenía 26 terrenos en la localidad de Chilecito, en la provincia de La Rioja. No obstante, solo poseía el 50% de cada una se esas propiedades: la otra mitad le pertenece a Germán Kammerath, un antiguo colaborador de Menem en la arena política.
Además de estos lotes, también era dueño de dos autos, de una moto de baja cilindrada, de una colección de obras de arte y de acciones de una empresa de telecomunicaciones. Mantenía, asimismo, una considerable cantidad de dinero en efectivo.
Lo que corresponde
Cabe recordar que, en mayo de 2022, Máximo Menem exigió públicamente ser considerado en la repartición de la riqueza de su fallecido padre. “Es lo que me corresponde”, dijo que esa ocasión. Pues bien, ¿cuánto debiese recibir?
Los tribunales trasandinos zanjaron que las pertenencias deben repartirse en partes iguales entre los hijos de Menem; es decir, Zulemita Menem, Carlos Nair Menem y Máximo, y su nieta Antonella, hija de Carlos Menem Jr., muerto en un accidente de helicóptero ocurrido en 1995.
Sin embargo, dos valiosas propiedades fueron excluidas de la herencia: una casona en el barrio de Belgrano R, en Buenos Aires, que fue donde el ex Presidente pasó sus últimos años, y La Rosadita, una mansión ubicada en Anillaco, La Rioja. Ambos inmuebles están inscritas a nombre de Zulemita, que fue quien más tiempo convivió con su padre, aparte de Carlos Nair.
Es de esperar que resuelto el tema, ahora la relación entre los herederos de Carlos Menem se vuelva menos tensa.
