El Cacique iniciará un proyecto de remodelación del Monumental en el periodo que lidera Aníbal Mosa y que tendrá a Harold Mayne-Nicholls como consultor en el tema estadio.
Aníbal Mosa tiene un nuevo refuerzo para Colo Colo. Se trata de Harold-Mayne-Nicholls quien será consultor para la remodelación del estadio Monumental, un proyecto que tendría sus primeros avances para el centenario del Cacique.
El expresidente de la ANFP arrancará en sus funciones este mismo martes y se pondrá manos a las obras para avanzar en diversos temas respecto al proyecto del nuevo Monumental. En tanto, mantendrá sus funciones como director ejecutivo de la Corporación de los Juegos Panamericanos de Santiago 2023.
Aníbal Mosa adelantó los pasos a seguir junto a Mayne-Nicholls en los próximos días. “Vamos a trabajar con un cronograma, mañana me voy a juntar con Harold, la idea es que en los próximos 30 días entregue un plan de trabajo, pero nuestra idea es que en el primer trimestre o máximo abril del próximo año podamos tener bases, constructoras y algo bastante avanzado para poner la primera piedra”.
De hecho, el puertomontino confirmó alternativas de financiamiento y adelantó un eventual costo: “El naming right es la alternativa, porque hablamos así a vuelo de pájaro de 100 millones de dólares, que uno no los pilla a la vuelta de la esquina. Necesitamos una persona que vaya a tocar puertas, con cierta credibilidad, y por eso confiamos en Harold para levantar esa cifra millonaria “.
Respecto a la ampliación del Monumental, según pudo averiguar BOLAVIP todavía no hay una capacidad definida para ampliación del recinto que hoy cuenta con un aforo máximo de 43.667 espectadores.
