Tres hombres fueron detenidos por oficiales de la Policía de Monterrey en dos hechos separados el día de ayer, tras ser encontrados a bordo de vehículos con reporte de robo en diferentes puntos de la zona metropolitana.
El primer incidente ocurrió a las 09:00 horas en el cruce de Ruiz Cortines y General José Santos, en la colonia Valle Verde Tercer Sector.
Los detenidos, identificados como Marcos Édgar ‘N’ y Carlos ‘N’, ambos de 34 años y originarios de Tamaulipas, fueron interceptados por la policía mientras conducían un auto Dodge Avenger gris reportado como robado. Según las autoridades, el vehículo había sido hurtado el 2 de julio en la colonia Mitras Poniente, sector Jordán, en el municipio de García. Los sospechosos alegaron haber comprado el automóvil en un tianguis el domingo anterior.
El segundo hecho se registró a las 15:25 horas en el cruce de Hidalgo y Emilio Carranza, en el centro de la ciudad. Joel ‘N’ de 33 años, fue detenido tras ser encontrado en una camioneta Ford Escape gris, modelo 2002, también reportada como robada.
La Central de Radio de la policía alertó sobre la presencia del vehículo, que había sido hurtado el 14 de junio en el Barrio Mirasol, en Ciudad Solidaridad.
Los tres hombres fueron trasladados a las instalaciones de la Policía de Monterrey y puestos a disposición del Ministerio Público para continuar con las investigaciones correspondientes.
