La Policía de Monterrey detuvo a un hombre y una mujer acusados de privar ilegalmente de la libertad a tres jóvenes mujeres en el Edificio Latino, ubicado en la Avenida Juan Ignacio Ramón y Escobedo.
El incidente comenzó cuando los oficiales respondieron a un llamado de auxilio que reportaba una situación sospechosa en una oficina del quinto piso.
Al llegar al lugar, los agentes encontraron a tres empleadas encerradas en una oficina, quienes denunciaron haber sido retenidas durante más de una hora por la pareja detenida, quienes además les habrían robado tres teléfonos celulares y 600 pesos en efectivo.
Tras un breve enfrentamiento, los oficiales desarmaron y arrestaron a Federico Manuel S., de 32 años, y Monserrat T., de 29 años, incautando dos armas de fuego, una de ellas cargada con 17 cartuchos.
Las víctimas, todas trabajadoras del edificio de 20, 22 y 26 años de edad, informaron a la policía que la pareja ingresó al lugar buscando a la encargada y luego las mantuvo encerradas por más de una hora.
Tras el arresto, Federico y Monserrat fueron llevados a las instalaciones de la Policía de Monterrey para enfrentar cargos por privación ilegal de la libertad y posesión de armas de fuego. El caso quedó bajo la investigación del Ministerio Público para determinar las acciones legales correspondientes.
