París 2024 se ha convertido en una edición olímpica histórica para nuestro país. Además de los resultados obtenidos y de las medallas que los atletas mexicanos han sumado, hay que reconocer las participaciones históricas como la de natación artística y la del equipo de gimnasia rítmica.
Cabe destacar que México nunca había participado en unos olímpicos en la prueba por equipos en esta disciplina y este viernes, a dos días de culminar la justa veraniega, las gimnastas mexicanas hicieron su aparición sobre el tapiz de la Arena Porte de la Chapelle.
¿Cómo fue la participación del equipo mexicano de gimnasia rítmica en París 2024?
El conjunto nacional tuvo un debut y despedida, pues no pudieron alcanzar los lugares de clasificación a la final, luego de culminar en la posición número 12 con dos rutinas que le valieron 29.700 en cinco aros y 27.800 en tres listones y dos pelotas.
Y es que las mexicanas tuvieron algunos errores que valieron penalizaciones como la caída de algunos aparatos y la culminación de la rutina sin uno de estos.
Con un total de 57.500, el equipo de gimnastas mexicanas cerró su participación en el lugar 12 superando a Alemania y Japón, pero quedando fuera de la final a la que accedieron las 8 mejores más dos reservas que ocuparon las posiciones 9 y 10.

La entrenadora Blajaith Aguilar destacó la experiencia que le deja esta justa a las gimnastas mexicanas y sus próximas generaciones en este deporte en el que nuestro país no figura.
«Los Juegos Olímpicos nos dejan una experiencia muy grande, estamos muy emocionadas, sentíamos el peso de ser las primeras en la historia de nuestro país, de estar aquí, es un peso muy grande», compartió.
«Este ciclo olímpico estuvo lleno de cosas históricas para nosotras a nivel Copas del Mundo, World Challenge Cup, el pase olímpico, entre otras; me voy contenta, pero no satisfecha, tenemos que seguir trabajando, quiero mucho a mis chicas, somos un equipo y vamos a sacarnos esta espinita», comentó.
La capitana Adirem Tejeda reconoció que se cometieron errores en ambas rutinas, lo que orilló a que el equipo se quedara al margen de la competencia por las medallas, como lo fue el nerviosismo.
«Somos novatas en esto, hemos competido en Copas del Mundo, torneos internacionales, pero no es lo mismo esta es la justa deportiva más grande y nos vamos a seguir preparando, lo vamos a hacer mejor, esto es una nueva experiencia y de aquí para adelante», aseguró.
