El Tribunal Electoral de la Ciudad de México (TECDMX) ordenó un recuento total de los votos para la elección de la Alcaldía Cuauhtémoc, cuyos resultados habían dado como virtual ganadora a la abanderada de PRI, PAN y PRD, Alessandra Rojo de la Vega.
Para ello, instruyó al Consejo Distrital 9 del Instituto Electoral de la Ciudad de México realizar un nuevo escrutinio y cómputo de esta elección que se llevó a cabo el pasado 2 de junio.
Este recuento debe efectuarse dentro de los cinco días naturales contados a partir de la notificación de la resolución, con excepción de los paquetes electorales que ya hayan sido objeto de recuento en la respectiva sesión de cómputo distrital.
“Es procedente la realización, en sede administrativa, de un recuento total de la votación emitida en la elección de la Alcaldía Cuauhtémoc, conforme a las razones contenidas en la Consideración Tercera del Acuerdo Plenario».
Se ordena al 09 Consejo Distrital del Instituto Electoral de la Ciudad de México, Cabecera de Demarcación Territorial Cuauhtémoc, proceda a realizar el nuevo escrutinio y cómputo señalado en el Acuerdo Plenario, conforme a lo señalado en la Consideración Cuarta de la resolución”, señala el acuerdo plenario.
En el expediente TECDMX-JEL-203/2024 se declara procedente la impugnación que Morena presentó el pasado 8 de junio ante el Consejo Distrital 9 de la Ciudad de México, en contra del cómputo distrital, así como de la declaración de validez y la entrega de la constancia de mayoría relativas a la elección de la alcaldía Cuauhtémoc.
