En los últimos días Constanza Mackenna abrió su corazón a través de las redes sociales para referirse a los dramáticos días que ha estado viviendo a raíz de una enfermedad que afectó a su hijo mejor, Teo.
La actriz de “Generación 98” contó en primer términos que el niño estaba enfrentando un problema de salud que la tenía muy preocupada, sin mencionar más detalles.
“Ha sido un aterrizaje forzoso la vuelta de vacaciones (recientemente estuvo en Jamaica con su familia), pero mi chico guerrero ha sabido dar la pelea”, señaló Constanza Mackenna en ese momento en una historia de Instagram.
Posteriormente, actualizó la situación señalando que Teo había sido hospitalizado de urgencia.
Consultada por Página 7 respecto a la evolución de su hijo, Mackenna reveló el diagnóstico que recibió de los doctores.
“Está con una bronconeumonía severa (nota: un tipo de neumonía que provoca una inflamación de los pulmones), pero no sabemos qué virus fue el que lo produjo. En sus exámenes salieron los seis virus más típicos que se identifican todos negativos”, indicó.
Avances positivos
Dijo, además, que el niño llegó a estar en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos (UCI), pero su estado mejoró y fue derivado a la UTI.
“Así que hay avances positivos”, señaló, acotando que antes pasó por instantes muy duros, sobre todo porque en algún momento le expresaron que el chico podía ser intubado.
“Me he tratado de mantener fuerte y positiva, pero cuando supimos que si no reaccionaba al tratamiento iban a tener que intubarlo me quebré por completo. Es muy duro ver a un hijo pasarlo mal y no poder hacer nada”, confesó Constanza Mackenna.
Añadió ha puesto todas sus energías en la recuperación del niño y está agotada. “Han sido días de muchas emociones”, reconoció, añadiendo que agradece el hecho de poder dejar a su hijo en buenas manos.
