Continúan las reacciones tras la derrota por 1 a 0 de la Selección Chilena frente a Argentina. La Roja se vio superada en todas sus líneas durante gran parte del encuentro, y ya se comienza a exigir un poco más a las posibles nuevas figuras del equipo de todos, como Darío Osorio.
En conversación con BOLAVIP, Gabriel Mendoza, histórico campeón de Copa Libertadores con Colo Colo, analizó en profundidad la amarga derrota ante la albiceleste.
“No se vio tan desorganizado. Se vio mejor. Pero Argentina es Argentina. Con los cambios en los últimos minutos jugaron incluso mejor, hubo 3 llegadas importantes”, destacó de entrada.
Posteriormente, agregó: “Y bueno lo de siempre, todo lo que podamos decir, a la FIFA nomás porque el penal era penal, porque el gol era offside, porque la expulsión era expulsión. Si hubiera sido al revés cobraban todo”.
“Coca” Mendoza exige mayor rendimiento de Darío Osorio
Darío Osorio es una de las actuales figuras del denominado recambio de la Selección Chilena. Sin embargo, hasta hoy, no ha logrado realizar actuaciones sobresalientes en encuentros importantes de La Roja.
“El partido estuvo muy parejo. Nos demuestra que Bravo es el capitán, si no hubiera sido por él hubiéramos perdido por otra cifra. En jugadas imparciales el árbitro siempre favoreció a Argentina”, agregó el “Coca”.
En esa línea, fue cuando se refirió al exjugador de Universidad de Chile: “Cuando salió Alexis se vio mucho mejor Chile. Osorio está muy presionado, pero es así, él está en la Selección y tiene que empezar a mostrarlo. Todos esperamos mucho más de Osorio, no hay que liquidarlo. Esperemos que ya empiece a explotar”.
Luego, elogió el nivel del volante de Huracán, otra de las buenas figuras de La Roja: “Echeverría me sorprendió. En Argentina aprendió mucho. Es guapo, llegó con dos remates al arco que pudieron haber sido gol, pero cuando hay que meter, mete. Eso se lo ha dado el ritmo argentino. De no ser por Bravo, Echeverría claramente era el mejor jugador del partido“.

Canadá será el próximo rival de La Roja en la Copa América 2024. Chile se medirá ante el equipo norteamericano el día 27 de junio a contar de las 20:00 horas.
Sobre ese encuentro, el exzaguero de Colo Colo añade: “Canadá es difícil. El peor resultado es que hayan ganado 1 0, es un rival muy pesado y lo demostraron ante Argentina. Es un equipo rápido, que juega bien, y en esas situaciones nos puede complicar”.
